Job summary

Halfords is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester for our Fusion Centre to provide first-class customer experiences and uphold vehicle safety. The role covers MOT testing to DVSA standards and a broad range of maintenance tasks, from diagnostics to routine servicing, ensuring high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair is required.
• Valid MOT Testing Licence is required.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and complete a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair work.
• From advanced diagnostics and repairs to routine services, ensure every job is done to the highest standard.

Education

Level 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair

Valid MOT Testing Licence

Full UK driving licence with ≤9 points

• Comprising a base salary of £33,000 - £35,000
• An uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £6,800 per year.

As a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester, you’ll carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and complete a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair work. From advanced diagnostics & repairs to routine services, you’ll ensure every job is done to the highest standard.
