Job summary

Halfords Garage Services is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our Fusion Centre and lead a first-class customer experience. The role involves MOT testing to DVSA standards and a broad range of maintenance and repair work, from diagnostics to routine services, in a facility upgraded for excellence.

With on-target earnings up to £41,700 (base £35,000) and an uncapped monthly bonus averaging £6,700, Halfords offers extensive training, career progression and a comprehensive

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
• Valid MOT Testing Licence.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points.

• From diagnostics to routine services, ensure high standards.

As a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester, you’ll carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and complete a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair work. From advanced diagnostics & repairs to routine services, you’ll ensure every job is done to the highest standard.

Skills and experience

• Level 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent qualification or experience)
• Valid MOT Testing Licence
• Must have a full drivers licence with no more than 9 points
