Job summary

Halfords Garage Services in Huddersfield is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our Fusion Centre, equipped with the latest facilities to deliver first‑class customer experience and a great working environment.

You’ll perform MOT tests to DVSA standards and undertake a broad range of maintenance and repair tasks, from diagnostics to routine servicing, ensuring high-quality workmanship and road safety. We offer extensive training and uncapped bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Must have a full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
• Valid MOT Testing Licence

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and complete a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair work.
• From advanced diagnostics & repairs to routine services, ensure every job is done to the highest standard.
