Job summary

Halfords Garage Services in Fareham is hiring a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester for our Fusion Centre. You will perform MOT tests and a broad range of maintenance and repair work, including diagnostics and routine service tasks to the highest standard.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Valid MOT Testing Licence is required.
• Full driving licence with less than 9 points.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards.
• Perform a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair work.
• Do advanced diagnostics and routine services to high standards.
• Contribute to delivering excellent customer experience.

• On-target earnings up to £43,500
• Comprising a base salary of £37,500
• An uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £6,000 per year
• 5 days a week (centre is open on Sundays during peak time only)
