Job summary

Halfords is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our team. You will perform MOT tests to DVSA standards and undertake a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair work, from diagnostics to routine services.

Qualifications

• MOT Testing Licence required.
• Experience in light vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose faults and carry out servicing to high standards.
• Deliver excellent customer experience and keep vehicles safe.

• Comprising a base salary of £34,000 - £36,000
• An uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £6,800 per year.

As a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester, you’ll carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and complete a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair work. From advanced diagnostics & repairs to routine services, you’ll ensure every job is done to the highest standard.

Skills And Experience

• Level 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent qualification or experience)
• Valid MOT Testing Licence
• Must have a full drivers licence with no more than 9 points
