Retail Renault Group in Stevenage is seeking a capable Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester to join a modern workshop. You will service, repair, maintain, and MOT test vehicles to manufacturer standards, with a focus on quality workmanship and safety.

The role offers a competitive £39,000 per year, uncapped bonus and a £3,000 welcome bonus after probation, along with a range of employee benefits and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Motor Vehicle qualification is required.
• MOT Tester licence (Class 4 and 7) is required.
• Full UK manual driving licence is required.
• Calm, professional approach with clear communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a workshop team.
• Commitment to high standards of safety and workmanship.

Responsabilités

• Carry out routine servicing, repairs, maintenance and MOT testing.
• Complete diagnostic work and fault finding to manufacturer standards.
• Follow workshop processes and manufacturer guidelines.
• Road test vehicles when required.

How You’ll Contribute:

• Carry out routine servicing, repairs, maintenance and MOT testing.

• Road test vehicles where required.

About You:

• Level 3 Motor Vehicle qualification.
• MOT Tester licence (Class 4 and 7).
• Calm, professional approach with clear communication.

• Full UK manual driving licence (manual and automatic vehicles).

Working Hours & Pay:

• 40 hours per week.
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm with a 30-minute lunch break.
• 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (8:30am-12:30pm), paid at time and a half.
• £39,000 pa.
