Job summary

Stellantis &You UK is recruiting a Vehicle Technician at our Birmingham Prep Centre. You will service and repair vehicles, perform basic diagnostics, and work to a high standard with ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Motor Vehicle Technology or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated ability to carry out diagnostics and servicing to high standards.
• Commitment to safety and quality with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a quality first-time fix for customers.
• Complete video health checks and highlight issues and upsell opportunities.
• Communicate progress with workshop supervision.
• Develop skills through regular training and development.
• Maintain a clean and safe work bay and environment.
• Complete MOTs in line with DVSA standards.

Vehicle Technician Role Overview

This is a great opportunity for you to become a key member of our workshop team.

An exciting new opportunity has come up here at our Birmingham Prep Centre as we’re on the lookout for a Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic team.

As a Vehicle Technician you will service and repair vehicles including performing basic diagnostics. We believe in developing YOU, providing a supportive and engaging place to work and offering training opportunities that keep you up to date with all the latest technologies to progress your career with us

• Ensure Quality and a first time fix to delight our customers every time.
• Complete video vehicle health checks to highlight any issues & sell-up opportunities.
• Communicate with workshop supervision regarding work progress.
• Develop your skills & knowledge via regular training.
• Maintain a clean & safe work bay.
• Complete MOTs in line with DVSA standards.

Let’s Work together

We are looking for a vehicle technician, service technician, auto-mechanic or mechanic.

It would be a big plus if you have experience on Stellantis brand products (like Vauxhall, Peugeot, Citroen, DS, Jeep, Fiat, Abarth, Alfa Romeo). If you don’t have the experience but have a strong interest to learn, we are still interested to speak with you!

• At a minimum, you will need an NVQ in Motor Vehicle Technology through IMI or City & Guilds Level 2.
• If you have the qualifications but have no work experience yet please do get in touch – we have opportunities available.
