Job summary

We’re working with an established automotive workshop in Manchester actively seeking a Vehicle Technician. You will service, repair and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in a friendly, professional team environment.

Offering a £30k–£40k salary, Monday–Friday hours with no weekend work, 21 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays, and a Christmas closure. Free food and monthly team meals illustrate the supportive culture and long-term career opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous professional workshop experience.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and practical ability.
• Good fault-finding and diagnostic ability.
• Relevant automotive qualifications preferred.
• Own tools required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Complete inspections and ensure all work is carried out safely and professionally.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
• Work as part of an experienced team to keep the workshop running efficiently.
