Hawk Hiring LTD in Manchester is recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a well-established automotive business. This professional role offers a competitive salary and a clear path for progression.

You will service and repair a range of vehicles, carry out diagnostics, and ensure high standards of workmanship in a modern workshop environment. Monday to Friday hours and no weekend work are included.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent) – essential.
• Proven experience as Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Servicing & maintenance across a range of vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Perform brakes, clutches, suspension, cambelts, and other repairs.
• Maintain quality workmanship and safety standards.

What You'll Be Doing

• Servicing & Maintenance: Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs across a range of vehicles.
• Diagnostics: Identifying and repairing mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Mechanical Repairs: Completing brakes, clutches, suspension, cambelts and general mechanical repairs.
• Quality Workmanship: Ensuring vehicles are completed safely and to a consistently high standard.

Requirements

• Level 3 NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent) – essential.
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Own tools preferred.
