Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a full-time, permanent role. You will carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs, diagnose faults and ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy, working Monday to Friday with no weekend shifts.

The position offers a starting salary from £28,000 with progression based on experience and skill, while benefiting from a spacious workshop and a relaxed, professional culture.

Qualifications

Previous professional workshop experience.
Strong mechanical knowledge and practical ability.
Own tools – essential.
Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability.
High standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
Reliable and professional approach.
Relevant automotive qualifications would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Carry out servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs.
Diagnose and repair vehicle faults.
Complete work to a high professional standard.
Carry out inspections and ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy.
Work independently while contributing positively to the wider workshop team.
