Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Motor Vehicle Technology or equivalent.
• At least 3 years' workshop experience.
• Experience with vehicle diagnostics and electrical fault finding.
• Familiarity with modern vehicle systems.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out vehicle servicing and routine maintenance.
• Completing mechanical repairs and component replacement.
• Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and electronic faults.
• Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve vehicle issues.
• Investigating complex faults and carrying out effective repairs.
• Following manufacturer technical information and repair procedures.
• Completing job cards and repair reports.
• Identifying additional repairs and required parts.
• Carrying out tyre fitting and four-wheel alignment.
• Maintaining high standards of safety, quality and workmanship.

• Strong mechanical knowledge and practical repair skills
• Experience with vehicle diagnostics and electrical fault finding
• Familiarity with modern vehicle systems
• A methodical approach to diagnosing and resolving faults
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A professional attitude and pride in your work
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable experience

• MOT Tester qualification
• VAG Group vehicle experience
• Advanced diagnostic and electrical fault finding
• Four-wheel alignment experience
