Britannia MOT & Repair Centre in Aylesford, Kent, is seeking a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join our expanding team. This permanent role runs Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, with a salary range of £50,000–£55,000 per annum dependent on experience.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 qualification (minimum) and a Level 3 EV/Hybrid qualification, 5+ years’ hands-on experience, and a proven diagnostic ability.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 qualification and at least Level 3 EV/Hybrid qualification.
• 5+ years’ hands-on diagnostic experience in vehicle repair.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities across electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsabilités

• Carrying out vehicle diagnostic investigations.
• Identifying and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults.
• Completing maintenance and repair work following diagnosis.
• Ensuring work is completed accurately and efficiently.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship.
• Working in accordance with company health and safety procedures.
• Recording time spent and work completed accurately.

Diagnostic Vehicle Technician

Location: Aylesford, Kent

Salary: Range £50,000 - £55,000 per annum dependent upon experience.

Vacancy Type: Permanent, Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

We are an award-winning independent Garage & MOT station based in Aylesford Kent. Due to expansion, we are seeking to recruit a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join our team.

Preferably from an independent workshop background, you must be qualified to at least Level 3 and hold a minimum of a Level 3 EV/Hybrid qualification. Further training to the Level 4 EV qualification is possible as part of ongoing opportunities within our team. You must have a proven track record with at least 5+ years' experience, pay excellent attention to detail and have solid problem-solving skills.

You must be able to work independently as well as part of a team, in a busy environment.

Duties will include:

• Carrying out vehicle diagnostic investigations
• Identifying and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
• Completing maintenance and repair work following diagnosis
• Ensuring work is completed accurately and efficiently
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship
• Working in accordance with company health and safety procedures
• Ensuring work and time spent is completed & recorded accurately and efficiently
