Job summary

Centurion Fast Fit Coventry is seeking an experienced Car Mechanic/Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester for a full-time position at our busy family-run garage.

Ideal candidates will have NVQ Level 3 or time-served experience, approximately 3 years in motor vehicle repair, and a full UK driving licence with no disqualifications in the last 5 years. An MOT testing licence is advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent / time served experience.
• 3 years of experience in motor vehicle repair.
• Full UK driving licence with no disqualifications within the last 5 years.
• A valid class 4 MOT testing licence would be advantageous but not essential.
• Good approach to customer service.
• Fault finding and diagnostic work using diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out fault finding and diagnostic work on vehicles.
• Work on all makes of vehicles as part of a busy garage.
• Commit to teamwork or work independently as required by the job.

Hours: Full Time - 8:30- 17:30 MONDAY - FRIDAY

8:30-2PM SATURDAY

We are currently looking for an experienced Car Mechanic/Vehicle Technician/Motor Mechanic/MOT tester to join our busy independent family run garage on a full time basis.

You will need to have a high standard of professionalism and be confident working on all makes of vehicles as well as being efficient and self disciplined. You need to be willing to work as a team member as well as on your own.

The ideal Car Mechanic / Vehicle Technician will possess:

NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent / Time Served Experience

(Ideally you will have 3 years experience in the motor vehicle repair industry but considerations will be made for the right person).

A valid class 4 MOT testing licence would be advantageous but not essential

A Full UK driving licence with no disqualifications within the last 5 years (you will be subject to licence checks)

A good approach to customer service

We will also require you to carry out fault finding and diagnostic work using our diagnostic equipment accompanied with your own knowledge and experience.
