Enginova Motor Group is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to service and repair a wide range of makes and models. You will diagnose faults, replace worn parts, road-test vehicles and record work and parts used, while strictly following workshop health and safety standards.
The role requires a minimum of 3 years' experience, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to communicate clearly with customers. NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is desirable.
The role involves performing vehicle servicing and repairs across a wide range of makes and models, carrying out diagnostic checks to identify mechanical faults, replacing worn or faulty parts (brakes, clutches, suspension, exhausts, etc.), road-testing vehicles before and after repair, accurately recording work carried out and parts used, and maintaining strict adherence to workshop health and safety standards. Technicians are also expected to communicate clearly with customers on vehicle issues where needed.
Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a vehicle technician or mechanic, strong knowledge of engine, transmission, braking, steering and suspension systems, proficiency using diagnostic tools and interpreting fault codes, a full valid UK driving licence, and the right to work in the UK. Relevant qualifications such as an NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent) are desirable but not essential — strong hands‑on workshop experience is valued equally.
Competitive salary of £36,000–£45,000 depending on experience; 28 days' holiday including statutory bank holidays; employer pension scheme; steady, varied workload in a busy local garage; supportive, experienced small team.
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Proof of eligibility will be required before an offer of employment is confirmed.
