Job summary

Join Jaguar Land Rover Newport as a Technician/Mechanic in a modern workshop environment. You will diagnose, repair and service Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles using manufacturer tools and training, and perform road tests to validate repairs.

Role includes parts handling, storage, and supporting apprentices and junior technicians. UK-wide benefits are available, with extensive training and clear progression within the Sinclair Group.

Qualifications

• Hold an NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Repair or equivalent.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to service, maintain and repair to a high standard.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical information clearly.
• Commitment to maintaining and developing technical knowledge.
• Confident using diagnostic equipment and conducting quality checks.

Responsibilities

Job description

Working in a modern workshop environment, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and servicing Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles, using manufacturer-leading tools, equipment and training. You'll also carry out vehicle road testing, ensure parts are handled and stored correctly, and support the development of apprentices and junior technicians where required.
