Job summary

Vertu Motors Jaguar Land Rover Guiseley is recruiting a skilled Vehicle Technician to support customers across the Jaguar and Land Rover ranges. You will work on servicing, diagnostics and complex repairs with a focus on first-time fixes and premium workmanship.

The role includes access to manufacturer-specific training including EV and electrical training, potential progression through accreditation pathways, and a generous salary package with a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Need Level 3 Automotive qualification or equivalent.
• Current hands-on Vehicle Technician experience, ideally within a main dealership environment.
• Own set of tools.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and repairs with precision, care and attention to detail.
• Diagnose, repair and service vehicles to the highest standards.
• Apply technical expertise to routine, diagnostic and complex repairs.
• Take pride in delivering quality results and building customer trust.

If youholda nationally recognised Level 3 Light Vehicle qualification, such asNVQ Level 3 orequivalent, your experience and qualifications willbereviewedby JLR duringonboarding.Followingthisreview, JLRwillprovideanaccreditationpathway to support youtowardsLevel 2qualified status.IfyouholdMaster Technician certification,JLRwill alsoreviewyour experienceandsupportyouthrough therelevantaccreditation pathwaytowardsJLRLevel 4qualified status.

• A relevant formal qualification, such as City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Automotive, or equivalent.
• Current hands-on experience as a Vehicle Technician, ideally within a main dealership environment.

• A full UK driving licence.
