Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Master Vehicle Technician for a franchise dealership in Swansea. The role focuses on accurate repairs, diagnostics, and mentoring junior technicians within a high-standard workshop.

Offering a competitive basic salary with an OTE of £35,000–£42,000, optional Saturday overtime, and a company car after probation, the role also includes holiday growth with service, enhanced overtime, training, eye care vouchers, and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• IMI/NVQ Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance.
• Proven experience as a Senior or Master Vehicle Technician within a franchise dealership environment.
• Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and high-quality repairs and vehicle servicing in line with manufacturer, retailer, and industry standards.
• Diagnose complex vehicle faults using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Mentor, coach, and support other Vehicle Technicians to improve workshop efficiency and fault-finding skills.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to team members.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues, providing clear explanations and recommended solutions.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, correctly, and within reasonable timeframes.
• Follow up on repair work and resolve long-term vehicle issues when necessary.
