Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a respected main dealer group in Warwickshire. The role offers a competitive salary, comprehensive training, and a genuine work/life balance with no weekend work.

The position requires an NVQ/IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair and 3–4 years of workshop experience, with strong diagnostics and a proactive approach to maintenance.

Qualifications

• NVQ/IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• 3–4 years’ workshop experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude with good diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High standards of vehicle maintenance and attention to detail
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine vehicle servicing and maintenance, inspecting components for wear and documenting findings.
• Diagnose faults accurately, test faulty parts, and perform effective repairs.
• Support preparation and maintenance of new, used, and loan vehicles.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high service standards.
• Complete complex repairs including engine work, gearboxes, clutches and cambelts.
• Ensure work complies with manufacturer standards and health & safety regulations.
