Job summary

Adam Curtis Specialist Automotive Recruitment Consultancy Ltd in Manchester is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a prestige main dealer group. The role is 40 hours per week with 1 in 3 Saturdays (half day) and is permanent/full-time.

You will service, diagnose and repair vehicles to high standards, maintain product knowledge, follow manufacturer procedures, and work with the service reception and workshop control.

Qualifications

• Experience as Vehicle Technician in a main dealer or independent workshop.
• Strong communication skills with customers and colleagues.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, diagnosing and repairing vehicles to excellent standards.
• Delivering exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to loyalty and referrals.
• Communicating with the Service Reception team and Workshop Control.
• Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.
• Adhering to manufacturer procedures and processes.
• Being part of a team and bringing a high attention to detail.
• Providing your technical expert opinion to customers.
