Lookers Bishop Stortford Volvo is recruiting a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join a growing workshop. You will work with experienced technicians to perform health checks, services and repairs using the latest technology, reporting to the Aftersales Manager and benefiting from training and progression opportunities including manufacturer accreditation and EV training.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, UK driving licence, and relevant

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Carrying out pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles
• Carrying out checks in line with manufacturers guidelines
• Fitting additional accessories requested by the customer
• Vehicle health check and reporting further work
• Checks on lights, tyre pressure, mechanical and electrical components
• Completing minor repairs on vehicles
• Understanding and carrying out basic diagnosis in mechanical and electrical work
• Carrying out vehicle service per manufacturers guidelines
• Carrying out repairs once authorised by customer
• Road testing to ensure faults are rectified
• Completing all relevant paperwork to a high standard
