Lookers St Helens Vauxhall is recruiting for a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our workshop. You will inspect, service and repair vehicles using the latest technology and perform checks to ensure quality and safety.

You will report to the Aftersales Manager, benefit from manufacturer accredited training, and have opportunities for career progression in a busy, supportive team. A full UK driving licence and NVQ Level 3 or equivalent are required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a mechanic or vehicle technician.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-delivery inspections on vehicles.
• Perform vehicle services and warranty repairs per manufacturer guidelines.
• Check lights, tyres, and mechanical/electrical components.
• Carry out minor repairs and diagnose faults.
• Complete paperwork to high standards.
