Job summary
Autotech Recruit Ltd is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a busy workshop in Chelmsford, Essex. Work in a modern dealership environment with ongoing manufacturer training and clear career development paths.
Role involves servicing, diagnosis, and repairs to manufacturer standards. Requires NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair; MOT tester status is advantageous. UK driving licence is essential. Excellent ETE and progression opportunities are offered.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic is required.
- MOT Tester licence advantageous but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
- Complete vehicle inspections and identify additional work requirements.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately and efficiently.
- Provide technical support and guidance to workshop colleagues.
- Liaise with service advisors and workshop control teams.
- Deliver exceptional standards of customer service and workmanship.
