Job summary

Catering in Evesham is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician to join a leading automotive group. The role offers a competitive salary with progression, and you will work in a modern workshop on prestigious vehicle brands. The ideal candidate has IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, strong diagnostics, and a UK driving licence.

MOT and hybrid-vehicle experience are desirable. Monday to Friday with Saturday roata duties on a rota, benefiting from training and career

Qualifications

• IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Significant experience working within automotive workshops.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• UK driving licence with minimal points.
• MOT licence, hybrid vehicle technology experience and familiarity with VAG vehicles desirable but not essential.
• Motivated team player with a high standard of workmanship.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy dealership environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle servicing and maintenance, inspecting components for wear and tear.
• Conduct fault diagnosis and testing of faulty parts.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of new, used, and loan vehicles.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, sharing knowledge and skills.
• Contribute to ensuring high quality standards within the workshop environment.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.
• Support the development of technical skills through training and professional development.
