Job summary

Perfect Placement are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician for a busy main dealer group in Dudley. Salary up to £32,000 with potential for higher pay for senior technicians, plus OTE £40,000+ with bonus.

Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm with 1 in 4 Saturdays overtime; onsite parking and manufacturer training. You will service and repair a wide range of vehicles, perform diagnostics, complete workshop paperwork, and contribute to team efficiency while upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or NVQ Level 2 with relevant experience) is required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a dealership or automotive workshop environment.
• Full valid UK driving licence.
• Authorisation to work in the UK.
• Main dealer or franchise background advantageous.

• Perform servicing and repairs on a wide range of vehicles to high standards.
• Conduct diagnostic testing to identify faults accurately.
• Complete manufacturer and workshop paperwork to industry standards.

Our client, a reputable and well-established main dealer group in Dudley, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious automotive Vehicle Technician to advance their career within a leading global brand. - Basic salary up to £32,000, with potential for higher pay for senior technicians with franchise-specific training

- OTE earnings of £40,000+ including bonus

- Working hours Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm, with a Saturday morning rota (1 in 4), paid as overtime

Duties as a Vehicle Technician will include:

- Performing servicing and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, ensuring high-quality standards

- Previous main dealer experience is advantageous but not essential; a strong workshop background is sufficient
