Job summary

Protyre Autocare in the UK is seeking an enthusiastic Vehicle Technician to join our growing team. You will service and repair vehicles using the latest diagnostic tools to identify issues.

The successful candidate will hold an NVQ Level 3 in Automotive and a full UK driving licence, with a focus on safety and high-quality workmanship within a busy fast-fit environment. Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Automotive.
• Experience with mechanical and fast-fit repairs including tyre fitting, brakes, suspension.
• Ability to work in a busy team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the work performed on each vehicle is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Carry out fast-fit tyre fitting and use an alignment machine and read the readings.
• Fit brakes, exhausts, batteries, suspension and other mechanical parts.
• Carry out MOT repairs.
• Adhere to company procedures of the vehicle inspection process.
• Use diagnostic equipment to ensure thorough testing and repairs.
• Advise on other issues vehicles display and future repair timelines.
• Work safely and comply with health and safety regulations.
