Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD in the Derby area is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician / Dealership Mechanic to join our busy aftersales department. You will be responsible for executing routine manufacturer servicing, warranty repairs, recall updates, and fault diagnosis on a modern vehicle lineup following brand guidelines.

Requirements include NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, time-served dealership experience, DVSA MOT tester is advantageous, and a valid UK driving

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Time-served dealership or fast-paced workshop background with strong multi-point inspection experience and steady efficiency.
• Active DVSA MOT Tester accreditation is advantageous (offering higher basic pay potential), but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence & own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine manufacturer servicing and warranty repairs.
• Complete recall updates and systematic fault diagnosis.
• Adhere to brand guidelines across a modern vehicle lineup.
• Maintain high workshop efficiency and quality control.
