Job summary

Hawk Hiring is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician in Warwick to work in a state-of-the-art facility for a world-renowned automotive brand. The role focuses on complex diagnostics, powertrain overhauls, and warranty repairs, with dedicated factory training pathways.

Applicants should have Level 3 NVQ/IMI in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair and a Full UK Driving Licence. MOT tester status is advantageous but not essential, with a strong emphasis on right-first-time repairs.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ/IMI in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or time-served equivalent.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Active MOT Tester accreditation desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out heavy mechanical procedures including timing chain/belt renewals, engine overhauls, gearbox replacements and clutch builds.
• Utilize official diagnostic platforms to trace, evaluate and resolve complex faults.
• Conduct routine servicing, multi-point health checks and warranty inspections for manufacturer vehicles.
• Record detailed technical updates on digital job cards and update service advisors on timelines.
• Maintain workshop health and safety standards, tool care and bay cleanliness.
