Halfords is recruiting a Vehicle Technician in Hawkinge, Kent. The role involves servicing and repair work, with opportunities to handle complex tasks such as clutches, timing belts, and diagnostics in areas like electrics, brakes, steering, and suspension.

A Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent time served experience is required, along with a full driving license (≤9 points). The position offers a base salary between £32,790 and £38,100 with an uncapped monthly bonus

Qualifications

• Must have a Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Must have a full driver’s license with no more than 9 points.
• Experienced Technician/Mechanic able to carry out diagnostic work (brakes, steering/suspension, engine) and more complex repair and replacements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and repairs to vehicles.
• Perform diagnostics and tackle complex maintenance tasks (clutches, timing belts, electrics).
