Job summary

Hawk Hiring in the United Kingdom is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to perform diagnostics, servicing, maintenance and warranty repairs to high manufacturer standards within a busy workshop.

You will need NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to work with your own hand tools. The base is in the Aylesford/Maidstone area with Mon-Fri 8:30-17:00 hours and a Saturday morning rota.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Proven background as Vehicle Technician (main dealer or strong independent experience).
• Strong mechanical diagnostic, fault-finding, and electronic capabilities.
• Full UK driving licence & own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic troubleshooting.
• Carry out servicing and maintenance to manufacturer standards.
• Complete warranty repair work as required in a busy workshop.
• Diagnose faults and repair to premium vehicle standards.

Job description

• Salary: £32,000 - £39,000 basic (dependent on experience) + Performance Bonus Scheme
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30-17:00 (plus Saturday morning rota)
