Job summary

Hawk Hiring is recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Motor Mechanic to join a friendly, independent garage in Sheerness. You'll service, maintain and repair a wide range of vehicles in a trusted, supportive workshop environment.

Expect no dealership pressure, with a £50,000 basic salary, Monday–Friday hours and a fair Saturday rota. You’ll work with a team that values quality workmanship and long-term stability.

Qualifications

• Experience as Vehicle Technician, Motor Mechanic or Automotive Technician.
• Level 3 NVQ in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair preferred.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.

Responsibilities

• Car servicing and routine maintenance.
• Mechanical repairs across a range of vehicles.
• Electrical repairs and diagnostics.
• Diagnostics and fault finding.
• MOT preparation and related repairs.
• Identify faults and carry out effective repairs.
• Work safely and professionally as part of a team.
