Job summary
Hawk Hiring in Sittingbourne is seeking a skilled automotive technician to join a well-established independent garage. You will perform routine servicing, repairs, and diagnostics across a range of vehicles, while contributing to a friendly, supportive team.
Requires minimum 1 year of hands-on garage experience, NVQ 2/3 or City & Guilds in Light Vehicle Maintenance, and a full UK driving licence. Salary £28,000–£35,000 with 28 days’ leave, pension, and free staff parking.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional, hands-on workshop or garage experience.
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 / City & Guilds in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Responsibilities
- General servicing and vehicle maintenance across diverse makes and models.
- Mechanical repairs including brakes, suspension, light steering, clutches and exhaust components.
- MOT prep and shadow senior technicians on diagnostic work.
