Hawk Hiring is seeking a Vehicle Technician for a family-run independent garage in Etchingham, East Sussex. The role involves servicing, diagnostics, and repairs across a range of vehicles in a modern workshop with ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Vehicle Technician, Motor Mechanic, Car Mechanic or Automotive Technician.
• Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• Good mechanical knowledge and diagnostics understanding.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing and routine maintenance.
• Perform mechanical repairs and electrical fault finding.
• Carry out vehicle diagnostics and health checks.
• MOT preparation and post-inspection work.
• Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised workshop.
