Job summary

Perfect Placement is recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician for a reputable workshop in Wellington. You will diagnose, repair, and service a range of vehicles, including hybrids and EVs, while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role.
• Level 2 qualification in Vehicle Repair or higher.
• Willingness to undertake further training and obtain additional certifications.
• Knowledge of hybrid and electric vehicles is desirable, though not essential.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics, repairs and servicing on a variety of vehicles to manufacturer standards.
• Use diagnostic tools and techniques to identify faults accurately.
• Adhere to safety regulations and quality standards in all work.
• Maintain detailed service records and report findings clearly.
• Work toward obtaining relevant certifications as required.
