A renowned Jaguar & Land Rover specialist in the Hailsham and Uckfield areas is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a friendly, family-run team. Work on modern and classic models with extensive training and a clear path for growth.

Salary is competitive up to £48,000, with an OTE circa £50,000 and a bonus scheme. Monday to Friday hours, no weekends, and strong development opportunities in a reputable garage.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent; experience may be considered in lieu.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills, capable of explaining technical information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive automotive services and repairs in line with manufacturer standards.
• Perform diagnostics and fault-finding on Jaguar, Land Rover, and Range Rover vehicles.
• Carry out routine servicing and repairs across a range of models as a Vehicle Technician.
• Maintain efficiency without compromising quality of work.
• Complete vehicle health checks and liaise with service advisors regarding findings.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally, and within specified timeframes.
• Accurately use in-house DMS systems and adhere to workshop procedures.

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

• Conduct comprehensive automotive services and repairs in line with manufacturer standards
• Perform diagnostics and fault-finding on Jaguar, Land Rover, and Range Rover vehicles
• Carry out routine servicing and repairs across a range of models as a Vehicle Technician
• Maintain efficiency without compromising quality of work
• Complete vehicle health checks and liaise with service advisors regarding findings
• Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally, and within specified timeframes
• Accurately use in-house DMS systems and adhere to workshop procedures

Requirements:

• Previous experience in automotive repair as a Vehicle Technician
• NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent; experience may be considered in lieu
• Ideally 5 years' experience working on Jaguar, Land Rover, or Range Rover models
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills, capable of explaining technical information clearly
• Full UK driving licence is essential
• Land Rover or Jaguar experience is preferred but not essential
