Our client in Stourbridge is seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join a busy, expanding team. This role offers stability, no weekend work, and a competitive earnings potential with a salary up to £42,000 negotiable based on experience.

You will service, diagnose, and repair vehicles to high standards in a modern workshop, with on-site parking and ongoing training, while enjoying a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in vehicle maintenance or equivalent (Level 2 with substantial experience).
• Proven experience as a competent Vehicle Technician.
• Valid driving licence and own tools.
• MOT licence and EV/hybrid training (not essential).

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle servicing, diagnostics and repairs to a high standard.
• Handle mechanical tasks such as clutches and cambelts.
• Work independently and efficiently in a busy workshop.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
• Maintain a safe and professional working environment and records.

Duties:

• Conduct vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and repairs to a high standard
• Confidently handle mechanical tasks such as clutches, cambelts, and more advanced repairs
• Work independently and efficiently within a busy workshop environment
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers as required
• Maintain a safe and professional working environment
• Keep accurate records of work carried out and comply with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Level 3 qualification in vehicle maintenance or equivalent (Level 2 considered with substantial experience)
• Proven experience working as a competent Vehicle Technician
• Ability to work efficiently without supervision
• Valid driving licence and own tools
• Experience or training with premium brands such as Audi, BMW, Mercedes, or Jaguar Land Rover (not essential)
• MOT licence and EV/hybrid specialist training (not essential)
• A proactive team player with good communication skills
