Octane Recruitment Limited in Tonbridge is seeking an experienced MOT Tester/Vehicle Technician to join a busy dealership workshop. You will hold a current MOT Licence, a Level 3 qualification, and a full UK driving license with the right to work in the UK.

Role includes MOT testing, servicing, and inspections, plus ongoing training and career progression. 40 hours weekly, with Saturday mornings on a rota.

Formación

• Current MOT Testing Licence is essential.
• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Full UK Driving Licence and right to work in the UK.
• Experience as Vehicle Technician, MOT Tester or Mechanic.
• Strong hands-on servicing, inspection and repair skills.
• Dealership or independent garage experience considered.
• High standards of workmanship and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out MOT testing alongside servicing and mechanical repair work.
• Complete pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles.
• Carry out vehicle health checks and identify additional work.
• Complete servicing and maintenance to required standards.
• Diagnose and complete minor mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Fit vehicle accessories when required.
• Road test vehicles following repairs and complete relevant workshop documentation.

MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician Tonbridge

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician or Mechanic to join a busy dealership workshop in Tonbridge. Applicants must hold a current MOT Testing Licence, a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK.

Job Details

Location: Tonbridge

Salary: £34,000£37,000 basic depending on qualifications + bonus

OTE: £41,000+

Hours: 40 hours Monday to Friday 8:30am5:00pm, plus Saturday mornings 8:30am12:30pm on a rota

This position would suit a qualified MOT Tester or Vehicle Technician looking for a varied workshop role combining MOT testing, servicing, inspections and mechanical repairs, with ongoing technical training and career progression.
