Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited in Stoke-on-Trent seeks a Vehicle Technician to join a leading main dealer group. You will service and maintain vehicles and diagnose faults across electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems, with possible MOT duties if qualified.

Salary up to £42,000 basic plus uncapped bonus and overtime, with benefits including 31 days holiday (33 with service), pension, staff discounts and MOT license bonus (£1.5k).

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in a main dealership environment
• Full UK driving license
• MOT license is beneficial but not essential

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles
• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair
• MOT testing duties (if qualified)

Vehicle Technician Role:

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles
• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, this work may include warranty approved work in line with our brand parameters
• Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties (if qualified)

Vehicle Technician Requirements:

• Full UK driving license
• Ideally NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds or Mechanical Engineering level 3 (or equivalent). However, we will also consider a level 2 Vehicle Technician with main dealership experienceonly
• 1+ years experience in a main dealership environment is needed
• MOT license is beneficial but not essential
