Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd in Southend, Essex is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician for a reputable main dealership. This opportunity offers a rewarding career within a professional environment that values skill development, customer satisfaction, and excellent earnings potential.

The role offers a competitive basic salary up to £35,000 per annum, with OTE up to £50,000 based on performance. Hours are 8.00am–6.00pm, Monday to Friday, with one in three Saturdays (8.00am–1.00pm).

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a vehicle technician in a dealership or auto repair.
• NVQ/City & Guilds level 3 or equivalent.
• Valid UK manual driving licence with no more than 3 points.
• MOT tester certification is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles efficiently and accurately.
• Diagnose vehicle issues using diagnostic equipment.
• Explain repair procedures clearly to customers.
• Maintain high standards of customer service at all times.
• Keep accurate records of work carried out.
• Adhere to workshop health and safety guidelines.

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
