Job summary

A well-established franchised car dealership in Farnborough is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their workshop team. The position offers competitive earnings, a welcome bonus of £2,500, and excellent benefits. Ideal candidates should hold a Level 3 NVQ in Light Vehicle Maintenance and possess relevant experience in servicing and diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance required.
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
• Active MOT Tester Licence (Class 4 & 7) and Hybrid/EV Qualifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing & repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Perform electrical & mechanical diagnostics.
• Conduct MOT tests and various repairs including clutch and gearbox.

Job description

Our client, a busy Franchised Car Dealership in Farnborough have the requirement for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their established workshop team

You will receive a dealership £2,500 welcome bonus.

This bonus will be split into three payments:

Schedule:
1stpayment - £1,000 after 30 days in post
2ndpayment - £500 after 90 days in post
3rdpayment - £1,000 after 6 months in post

Mechanic / Vehicle Technician / Service Technician / Diagnostic Technician / Master Technician Responsibilities:

As a Mechanic / Vehicle Technician / Service Technician / Diagnostic Technician / Master Technician your responsibilities will include:

Carry out Servicing & Repairs to Manufacturer Standards
Carry out MOT Tests to DVSA standards (if qualified)
Cam belt, Clutch, Gearbox & Engine Repairs/Replacements
Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics
Carry out New Car PDI’s & Used Car MPC’s
Warranty Repairs

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance
Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable Requirements:

Active MOT Tester Licence (Class 4 & 7)
Hybrid/EV Qualifications
Manufacturer Accreditations

Remuneration & Benefits

Basic Salary of £32,000 to £40,000 DOE

Monday - Friday: 8am - 5pm
Saturdays 1 in 4 : 8am - 2pm
