Job summary

A busy franchised car dealership in King's Lynn seeks an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their workshop team. Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Active MOT Tester Licence (Class 4 & 7) preferred.
• Hybrid/EV Qualifications and Manufacturer Accreditations desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Servicing & Repairs to Manufacturer Standards.
• Perform MOT Tests to DVSA standards if qualified.
• Conduct Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics.

Job description

Our client, a busy Franchised Car Dealership in Kings Lynn have the requirement for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their established workshop team

You will receive a dealership £2,500 welcome bonus. This bonus will be split into three payments:

Schedule:
1stpayment - £1,000 after 30 days in post
2ndpayment - £500 after 90 days in post
3rdpayment - £1,000 after 6 months in post




Mechanic / Vehicle Technician / Service Technician / Diagnostic Technician / Master Technician Responsibilities:

As a Mechanic / Vehicle Technician / Service Technician / Diagnostic Technician / Master Technician your responsibilities will include:

Carry out Servicing & Repairs to Manufacturer Standards
Carry out MOT Tests to DVSA standards (if qualified)
Cam belt, Clutch, Gearbox & Engine Repairs/Replacements
Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics
Carry out New Car PDI’s & Used Car MPC’s
Warranty Repairs

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance
Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable Requirements:

Active MOT Tester Licence (Class 4 & 7)
Hybrid/EV Qualifications
Manufacturer Accreditations

Remuneration & Benefits

Basic Salary of £32,000 to £40,000 DOE
Opportunity to earn £60,000+

Monday - Friday: 8am - 5pm
Saturdays 1 in 4 : 8am - 2pm
