Octane Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician in Solihull to perform servicing, maintenance and repairs. You will diagnose faults using diagnostic tools, replace parts and document all work.

A Level 3 LVMAR or Level 2 plus 3+ years of workshop experience is required, along with a valid UK driving licence. Role offers a realistic OTE up to £45,000 and a base up to £36,000, with overtime paid and ongoing manufacturer training.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or Level 2 with 3+ years' workshop experience.
• Full UK Driving Licence and right to work in the UK.
• Experience as Vehicle Technician, Mechanic or Automotive Technician is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, inspections and repairs on vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Replace components, lubricants and consumables and complete EVHCs as required.
• Record servicing and repair work accurately and work with Service Advisors to maintain workflow.

Vehicle Technician / Mechanic – Solihull

Looking for a Vehicle Technician role offering up to £36,000 basic, realistic earnings up to £45,000 and strong technical progression?

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, Automotive Technician or Service Technician in Solihull. Applicants must hold either a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or a Level 2 qualification with at least 3 years’ relevant workshop experience, plus a Full UK Driving Licence and the right to work in the UK.

Salary: Up to £36,000 Basic + Bonus + Overtime

OTE: Up to £45,000 depending on experience and site performance

Hours: Monday to Friday, plus Saturday rota and approved overtime

• Strong servicing, maintenance and repair skills
• Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability
• Own tools suitable for day-to-day workshop duties
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Right to work in the UK
