Pembrook Resourcing LTD in Romford is seeking a technically experienced Vehicle Technician to join a well established automotive dealership. You will diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles to high standards and support the Workshop team with a wide range of jobs.

Key duties include servicing, repairs, and diagnostics to manufacturer standards, plus accurate record-keeping and collaboration with Service Advisors.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in the automotive industry.
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding ability.
• Manufacturer or franchised dealership experience is advantageous.

VEHICLE TECHNICIAN

ROMFORD | £32,500–£40,000 BASIC SALARY | £60,000 OTE | AUTOMOTIVE DEALERSHIP

THE OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for a technically experienced Vehicle Technician to join an established automotive dealership in Romford.

This is an opportunity for someone with strong technical knowledge who can confidently diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles to a high standard. You'll be an important part of the Workshop team, working on a wide range of jobs and supporting the smooth running of the department.

THE ROLE

You’ll be responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs and diagnostics to manufacturer standards, while helping maintain a high level of quality across the Workshop.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance to a high standard.
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults.
• Using diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify faults.
• Working efficiently while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
• Carrying out technical inspections and identifying additional work required.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with manufacturer procedures.
• Supporting less experienced members of the Workshop where required.
• Maintaining accurate job cards and workshop records.
• Working closely with Service Advisors and the wider Aftersales team.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and professional working environment.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for someone with strong technical ability and a good depth of workshop experience.

You’ll need:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within the automotive industry.
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding ability.
• Confidence working on more complex technical jobs.
• Good attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to the wider Workshop team.
• Good communication and customer awareness.
• A full UK driving licence.

Manufacturer or franchised dealership experience would be advantageous, particularly for someone looking to take their technical skills to the next level.
