Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician at a busy main dealership in Romford. Applicants should have prior vehicle servicing and repair experience and hold a Level 2 NVQ in Motor Vehicle Technology (IMI or City & Guilds).

Salary is up to £39,000 basic per annum plus bonus and overtime, with MOT allowance and opportunities to earn up to £55,000 OTE. Full-time, permanent role based in Romford.

• Minimum Level 2 NVQ qualification in Motor Vehicle Technology (IMI or City & Guilds).
• Experience in vehicle servicing and repair in a dealership environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Carry out vehicle inspections and health checks.
• Identify additional repair and maintenance requirements.
• Carry out MOT testing if appropriately qualified.

Job description

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Technician to join a busy main dealership in Romford. Applicants must have previous vehicle servicing and repair experience and hold a minimum Level 2 NVQ qualification in Motor Vehicle Technology (IMI or City & Guilds). Previous main dealership experience is desirable but not essential.

Salary: Up to £39,000 basic per annum plus bonus and overtime, OTE up to £55,000 per annum

MOT Allowance: Additional £91 per month for qualified MOT Testers

Hours: Full Time, Permanent
