Job summary

VTA Recruitment Ltd in Oldham is seeking a Vehicle Technician / Commercial Vehicle Technician to join a growing workshop team. You'll service, diagnose and repair a range of cars, vans and commercial vehicles with ongoing training and development opportunities.

The role offers a salary from £32,000 per year with a performance-related bonus scheme and realistic overtime opportunities in a modern workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic in a workshop environment.
• Attention to detail and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence preferred; MOT licence advantageous.

Vehicle Technician / Commercial Vehicle Technician

Oldham | Salary from £32,000 per annum + Bonus Scheme | Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm + Every Other Saturday Morning

VTA Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Technician / Commercial Vehicle Technician to join a growing workshop team based in Oldham.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mechanic or technician looking for a new challenge, with ongoing training and opportunities to develop their skills across a range of vehicles.

The Role

• Vehicle servicing and maintenance
• Diagnostics and fault finding
• Mechanical repairs and vehicle inspections
• Working on cars, vans and commercial vehicles
• Ongoing manufacturer and technical training

Requirements

• Experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, HGV Technician, Agricultural Engineer, Plant Fitter or similar
• Good attention to detail and a positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence preferred
• MOT licence advantageous but not essential
