Job summary

Ashfield District Council in Sutton-In-Ashfield is recruiting a Vehicle Technician on a full-time, permanent basis (37 hours per week). The role offers a competitive salary of £36,581 - £39,481 per annum with additional allowances and opportunities for personal development.

The ideal candidate is a qualified Level 3 HGV vehicle technician, with MOT testing qualifications or willing to undertake training for MOT Testing, to help maintain a varied fleet of vehicles and plant equipment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Level 3 HGV vehicle technician.
• MOT testing qualification or willingness to train for MOT Testing.
• Experience maintaining a diverse fleet of vehicles and plant equipment.

Job description

Ashfield District Council have an exciting opportunity for a Vehicle Technician to join the team based in Sutton-In-Ashfield. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis (37 hours per week) and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £36,581 - £39,481 per annum with additional allowances.

We have an opportunity for someone who is highly motivated, enthusiastic, and excited about keeping our wheels on the road.

As a qualified Level 3 HGV vehicle technician, with MOT testing qualifications or willing to undertake training for MOT Testing, you will play a critical role in helping to maintain a large and varied fleet of Vehicles & Plant equipment ranging from 32Tonne Refuse Collection Vehicles to Massey Ferguson Tractors & Mowers.
