Job summary

Octane Recruitment in Northampton is seeking a Vehicle Technician to service, maintain and repair customer vehicles. You will diagnose faults and complete health checks, using diagnostic equipment to identify issues.

The role is Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm with a basic salary of £35,000-£39,000 plus bonus, OTE up to £45,000, and a £6,000 bonus potential; 22 days' annual leave plus Bank Holidays, plus company pension and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar.
• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Recognised diagnostic qualification.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve vehicle faults.
• Complete vehicle inspections and health checks.
• Carry out repairs efficiently to a high standard.
• Accurately complete job cards and workshop documentation.
• Maintain high workshop and Health & Safety standards.
