Job summary

Vertu Vauxhall Northampton is seeking a dedicated Vehicle Technician to join our team, whether early in your career or with years of experience. You’ll diagnose, repair, and service vehicles to high standards while embracing development opportunities and a supportive workplace.

We offer a competitive salary up to £49,350 with a bonus potential up to £5,000 and a £4,000 sign-on bonus, based on a 42-hour week with no Saturday working.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification (e.g., City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Automotive).
• Hands-on experience working as a Vehicle Technician.
• Your own set of tools.
• A full UK driving licence.

Vertu Vauxhall Northampton - Vehicle Technician

Vertu Vauxhall Northampton is excited to welcome a new, dedicated Vehicle Technician to join our team! Whether you’re early in your career or bringing years of experience, we value your skills, passion, and commitment to quality.

Salary Range:

Up to £49,350 (depending on your skills and experience) with additional bonus opportunity of up to £5000. This is based on a Average 42-hour working week with no Saturday working.

We’re also offering a £4000 sign-on bonus. You’ll receive £2000 when you join us and an additional £2000 in month 13 of your employment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Diagnosing, repairing, and servicing vehicles to the highest standards
• Applying your technical expertise to both routine and complex repairs
• Taking pride in achieving quality results and first-time fixes

Salary Tier Examples (Based On Skills And Accreditation)

• Prep Technician - Up to £37,800
• Service & Maintenance Technician – Up to £38,850
• Service & Diagnostic Technician – Up to £42,000
