Job summary

Vertu Vauxhall Carlisle is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician. You will join a team delivering high-quality workmanship with a focus on first-time fixes and customer satisfaction. The role offers a 42-hour week, Monday to Thursday 8:00am–5:00pm and Friday 8:00am–4:30pm, with no weekend work.

Packages depend on experience and qualifications, with potential earnings including a bonus of up to £5,000 as part of Vertu Motors’ ongoing commitment to staff development and industry-leading training.

Qualifications

• Relevant formal automotive qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds) and current experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• MOT licence preferred but not essential.
• Own tools and full UK driving licence required.

Qualifications

We're looking for technicians across all levels and packages on offer are dependent upon experience and qualifications; however, you can expect packages such as:

• Service and Maintenance Technician salaries up to £39,900
• Service and Diagnostic Technician salaries up to £43,050
• Senior Technician salaries up to £45,150
• Master Technician salaries up to £49,350

To Be Successful In This Role, You Should Have

• A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician
• MOT licence preferred but not essential
• Your own set of tools
• A full UK driving licence
