Job summary

Evans Halshaw Ford Motherwell is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to service, maintain and repair Ford vehicles. You will work across a range of models, using workshop tools with a focus on safety and quality workmanship.

With a £2,000 joining bonus for experienced technicians and flexible 4-day weeks, this role offers competitive pay based on skills and experience, with guaranteed progression opportunities and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Level 2 or Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification or equivalent.
• Experience carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Confidence using workshop tools and equipment to identify and repair common vehicle faults.
• Commitment to accurate workmanship, quality checks and working safely.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on Ford vehicles.
• Work across a varied range of Ford vehicles.
• Ensure workmanship is accurate and safety standards are met.
• Contribute to building technical knowledge through hands-on work.

£2,000 joining bonus available for all experienced Technicians.

Flexible four-day working week available.

Salaries are based on a 45-hour week. Alternative 40 and 42.5-hour working patterns are available to discuss at interview.

Basic salary: up to £51,948, depending on skills and experience.

OTE: up to £56,178, with uncapped earning potential.

What you’ll bring:
