Holt Recruitment Group is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician for our client in Solihull. You will service, diagnose and repair a range of vehicles to manufacturer standards, delivering high-quality workmanship in a busy workshop.

With 2+ years of post-qualification experience and an NVQ3, you will join a professional team, benefit from manufacturer training and clear career progression, and enjoy a competitive package with potential OTE.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair required.
• Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience.
• Dealership experience is advantageous.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
• Complete vehicle health checks and inspections.
• Ensure all work is carried out to manufacturer standards.
• Accurately record work completed and parts used.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop.
• Work closely with the wider team to deliver excellent customer service.

About the Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a range of vehicles to manufacturer standards. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality workmanship while ensuring vehicles are repaired safely, efficiently, and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on customer vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
• Complete vehicle health checks and inspections
• Ensure all work is carried out to manufacturer standards
• Accurately record work completed and parts used
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop
• Work closely with the wider team to deliver excellent customer service

What We're Looking For

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience
• Previous dealership experience is advantageous
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A positive attitude and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship
